Bio
Founded in 2013 by photographer and creative director Dreu Suarez in The Bronx, NY, SUARÉ is a revolutionary clothing brand that merges innovative design with timeless functionality. Known for its minimalistic approach and cutting-edge technical printing methods, the brand’s early focus was on 3M reflective printing — a signature technique that adds dimension and visual impact. This unique approach, combined with Dreu’s passion for photography and his understanding of how light interacts with clothing, allowed SUARÉ to stand out in the crowded fashion industry.
Dreu’s experience as a photographer inspired the integration of 3M reflective details into everyday wardrobe staples, enhancing the way clothing appears in photos and ensuring each piece becomes eye-catching in any light. The brand’s early designs, from hoodies and rain jackets to bags and hats, were created with a purpose: to be key staples in any wardrobe rotation.
As SUARÉ evolved, the brand maintained its minimalistic design ethos while expanding its focus on premium fabrics and refined silhouettes. Today, SUARÉ is committed to producing high-quality, long-lasting garments that honor heritage brand values and are meant to be cherished for a lifetime. Over the years, SUARÉ has continued to innovate, experimenting with specialty fabrications like PVC material, glow-in-the-dark prints, reflective zippers, velcro patches, branded eyelets, and the brand's standout product line.
In 2024, SUARÉ is taking the NYC streets by storm with its highly coveted "Swanky Cap," inspired by The Bronx. The name "Swanky" carries a triple-layered significance: it evokes the sound of "Yankee," referencing the iconic logo design; it conveys a sense of luxury through its definition; and it shares a phonetic connection with the brand name "SUARÉ."
With a commitment to creating clothing that merges style, sustainability, and purpose, SUARÉ continues to embody the essence of timeless fashion, providing pieces that last for generations while capturing the essence of New York City street culture.
